The Challenge
Sovrun needed to communicate complex treasury data to stakeholders in a format that was both comprehensive and engaging. Traditional static reports and spreadsheets failed to convey the dynamic nature of their financial position, while standard dashboards lacked the visual sophistication expected from the brand. The solution required balancing data density with clarity, ensuring stakeholders could quickly grasp key metrics without sacrificing depth.
The Approach
How do you make financial reporting compelling without compromising accuracy or accessibility? Three.js was selected for its ability to create depth and visual interest through 3D elements, while Next.js provided the performance foundation necessary for real-time data updates.
The design system emphasized subtle animation and a layout that guides people naturally, letting the data itself drive engagement rather than decorative flourishes.
The Execution
The dashboard integrates live data feeds with an immersive visual layer built on Three.js. Responsive design ensures the experience translates across devices, from desktop presentations in board meetings to quick mobile checks. Performance optimization was critical: the 3D elements needed to enhance rather than hinder the core function of delivering current, accurate financial information.

Real-time data synchronization means all stakeholders access the same information simultaneously, eliminating version control issues common with traditional reporting cycles.

The Outcome
The platform transformed how Sovrun communicates financial transparency. Stakeholders now engage with treasury data through an interface that surfaces insights immediately while providing depth for those who need it. The real-time architecture ensures information remains current, supporting faster decision-making across the organization.
